The starting point is in Podbanské and the route continues along forest roads under the
Western Tatras. The route passes through the mouth of the Žiarska dolina (Žiar Valley) and
the mouth of the Jalovecká dolina (Jalovecká Valley). The route leads to the village Liptovské
Matiašovce and continues along the border of the village to Kvačany where the route ends at
the crossroads with the Orava cycling route. The route offers breathtaking views and
interesting sites to visit nearby, such as the Oblazy mills in the Kvačianska dolina (Kvačany
Valley) and the Medvedia štôlňa (Bear Mine) in the Žiar Valley.
