The Museum of Homeland History in Krásno nad Kysucou is under the administration of the
Kysuce Museum in Čadca. It offers visitors a permanent exhibition called The Kysuce
Odyssey: From prehistoric people to astronauts, it reveals the history of Kysuce, from the
earliest mammoth hunters through the era of Juraj Thurzo up to the age of space flights. The
main attraction of the exhibition is a life-size replica of a female mammoth. An interactive
audiovisual guide will guide you through the unusual story of the Kysuce Odyssey.
