The lookout tower rises above the town of Krásno nad Kysucou in U Jantov settlement on
Diel Hill (560 m above sea level). The 25-metre-high wooden tower with stone foundations
has two viewing platforms. The lower platform, designed as an open terrace, offers views of
the surrounding meadows, while the upper, covered platform provides a magnificent
panorama of the town of Krásno nad Kysucou itself, the Kysuca River, the Kysuce
Highlands, and the Kysuce Beskids, including Veľká Rača
There are two routes leading from the train station in Krásno nad Kysucou to the lookout
tower. The first route follows the Stations of the Cross of the local Calvary and features a
steeper, but shorter climb, as well as benches for resting. Alternatively, you can take the
asphalt road towards U Jantov settlement, which is better suited to cyclists.
