The lookout tower is part of an educational trail that leads from the centre of the village of Oščadnica to the ridge of the Kysuce Beskids (Kysucké Beskydy). The undemanding yellow-marked trail has a gentle gradient and passes through meadows and forests. Along the way, there are several rest areas with benches where you can take a break. Each rest area has a thematic information board with photographs. The lookout tower offers a view of Oščadnica Valley (Oščadnická dolina), Krásno nad Kysucou and Čadca. A blue hiking trail runs alongside the lookout tower, and if you want to extend your trip, you can follow this trail all the way to Veľká Rača.
