The nearly 20-metre-high wooden lookout tower stands on the Veľký Vrch (literally “Great
Hill”) educational trail in the village of Divinka. Above the village, you will find hill forts, which
are a symbol of the architectural art of our ancient ancestors. The educational trail begins in
the centre of the village and leads to the top of the hill fort. During the walk, you will learn
interesting facts about the history of the hill fort from the information boards. You can enjoy
stunning views on the way up. The lookout tower offers beautiful views of the Javorník
Mountains, the village of Divina, the ridge of the Lúka section of the Malá Fatra Mountains,
Žilina, and the Súľov Rocks (Súľovské skaly).
