Kvačany Valley is a pleasant place to spend your free time. An educational trail with a
rugged but undemanding climb runs through it. This is why it is popular with tourists of all
ages, especially families with children. However, it is a highly desirable destination mainly
because of the Oblazy water mills, but also because of two viewing platforms located
directly on the nature trail.
The first is Kobyliny, a metal structure located above the Kvačianka River canyon, which is
up to 70 metres deep. It is a 20-minute walk from the mouth of Kvačany Valley along the red
trail. At the end of 2013, the first secured viewing platform Malý Roháč was added in
Kvačany Valley. This platform is located among the trees on a rock cliff and offers an
authentic view of the upper part of the valley and a large rock needle. It is located about 45
minutes from the Kobyliny viewing platform and about an hour of easy walk from the mouth
of Kvačany Valley along the red trail. It is only a few minutes walk from the Oblazy water
mills.
