The starting point is in Dolný Kubín and the route continues in the direction of Oravský
Podzámok. You can stop in Mokraď where you can see a historical manor house. Orava
castle, a landmark of Orava region, is located in Oravský Podzámok. Continue along the
cycling route through Pribišská dolina (Pribišská Valley), past the moving figurines and the
mill towards the village of Leštiny, where you can stop and visit the wooden Evangelical
articular church of Leštiny included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The route then takes
you to Vyšný Kubín, where you can find the childhood home of the writer Margita Figuli, as
well as Renaissance and Baroque manor houses and many other historic buildings. Dolný
Kubín is the endpoint of the route. There are many sights to see, such as Orava Gallery,
Čaplovičova Biblioteka Library, Hviezdoslav’s House, Florin’s House and more. A
disadvantage of the cycling route is that it crosses the main road in Dolný Kubín, and in the
section from Racibor to Oravský Podzámok as well as at the end of the route, when entering
Dolný Kubín, it follows the main road where traffic is heavier, so caution is advised.
