The green cycling route begins near the village Hybe and ascends via a bridleway to the
village of Východná, where it passes through the village and at the end turns to the right
under the observation tower. Východná is known for the largest nationwide folklore festival
that takes place in the village. The path ascends a little and then descends towards
Východná railway station. Behind the station, the path turns right onto the forest road and
continues over the railway, surrounded by beautiful forest. Slowly, the path turns to the left
and begins to ascend along a forest path until it connects to an asphalt road. There it turns
left once again and the ascent continues until you arrive at the Čierny Váh Dam, a unique
technical monument. If you own a road bike or a gravel bike, it is recommended to start the
13,5 km route in the village of Kráľova Lehota, continuing through Svarín, and finishing with
steep climbing to the upper dam of Čierny Váh. The whole route is an asphalt road.
