The monitoring lookout tower near Zborov nad Bystricou has an interesting design that
combines stone and wood with steel profiles. The lookout tower can be reached from the
town of Krásno nad Kysucou along the red hiking trail that follows the ridge separating the
valleys of Kysuca and Bystrica. Another option is to start from the village of Klubina along the
yellow trail and then join the aforementioned red hiking trail. A further option is the green-
marked trail from Zborov nad Bystricou. The trip to the lookout tower can be combined with a
visit to the Vyšné Vane settlement, which is only about 10 minutes from the lookout tower.
As the lookout tower is not visible from Zborov, you should not expect a view of Zborov
Valley. However, you can enjoy the view of part of the Bystrica valley and the Krásno nad
Kysucou valley. From the lookout tower there is a beautiful view of the Kysuce Mountains,
the Malá Fatra Mountains, and other, more distant mountain ranges.
