The youngest exhibition of the Považie Museum is a joint work of the Považie Museum and
enthusiasts of historical motorcycles – the Slovak Arielklub.
You will find there an exhibition entitled “From the History of Transport in Slovakia”, which
consists of three sections. In the first section, panels and exhibits provide information on road
and water transport from ancient times to the twentieth century. The railway section of the
exhibition focuses on models of railway vehicles, reconstructions of two offices with
signalling, communication and safety equipment, as well as technology used in commercial
service during the interwar period (1918–1945) and the “Socialist” era. The third section
provides information on the development of cars, motorisation, road construction and public
