Experience the first via ferrata in Liptov and the fourth in Slovakia. This secured trail is
designed for daredevils who enjoy vertical rock climbing and are not afraid of heights.
However, the creators of the via ferrata have also designed several less demanding sections
and the trails are divided into less demanding, difficult and very difficult. Depending on your
experience, you can choose from difficulty levels B, C to C/D for advanced climbers.
The via ferrata is situated at an altitude of 800 m, with individual sections rising 20 to
70 metres. It consists of three rock towers – one smaller and two higher, which are
connected by rope bridges. In total, you will find nine secured via ferrata routes with different
difficulty levels. In addition to the via ferrata routes to the summit, there is also a hiking trail,
as well as an educational trail with information boards about the local flora and fauna,
forestry and the via ferrata itself.
Safety is paramount, which is why all visitors to the Two Towers via ferrata must have a via
ferrata set and know how to use it correctly. It includes a harness, helmet, fall arrester, two
carabiners, gloves, and suitable climbing shoes with Vibram soles. If you are going to the via
ferrata for the first time, we recommend that you go accompanied by experienced climbers or
a certified guide.

How to get there?
The Two Towers via ferrata is located between the villages of Liptovská Osada and
Liptovské Revúce. You can find it in an area that locals use to call "Záhorovo".
Seasonal closure
The Two Towers via ferrata in Liptov is open each year from 15 June to 31 January. On the
via ferrata, access is allowed no earlier than one hour after sunrise and must end at least
one hour before sunset.
Parking
There is a parking lot on the main road before Nižná Revúca and another one just before the
entrance to Teplá Valley.
